How to activate your Discover card online?

Discover card activation doesn’t require you to enrol in a Discover online banking service.

Before you start your activation, make sure that you have a device with a good internet connection and your card details in handy

Follow the steps given below to activate your debit or credit card from Discover online –

  • Go to the Discover card activation page – card.discover.com/activate.
  • Log in to your account or choose “Without Logging In” if you don’t have one.
  • Enter your birth date, the last 4 digits of your SSN, your 16-digit card number and the card’s expiration date. (Only needed if you don’t log in)
  • Type in the 3-digit security code from the back of the card.
  • Click “Continue” to activate your Discover card.
